| dc.description.abstract-translated | he ruins of Košumberk castle belong to the most famous historic sights in Chrudim District (Pardubice Region). An extraordinarily well-preserved gun wheellock was discovered during processing of archaeological findings from the earlier castle collection. It is quite a plain military pistol lock dating back to the first half of the 17th century. Its perfect state suggests it must have been in a relatively dry environment (vault backfill, soil?). Findings of firearms parts from Early modern period count among rare and very attractive findings. | en |
