dc.description.abstract-translatedAfter preparation conducted before 2013, rescue work begun at Brandýs nad Orlicí Castle, founded at the end of the 13th century with the archaeological excavation taking place at the same stage. Trenches placed into rubble cones in front of the southern perimeter wall proved thickness of the rubble cones which have been created by the disintegration of the castle during the last two centuries. Archaeologically uncovered walls thereafter served to as base for fixing the wall torso.en
