dc.description.abstract-translatedThe correct origin of the name of the brothers Anselm and Předbor of Ronov, prominent men of the court of Duke Jan Zhořelecký, was determined nearly thirty years ago. Despite this fact, the erroneous link the Ronov Castle near Stvolínky (District of Česká Lípa) still survives in some publications. The purpose of this paper is to give proof of the fact that the predicate of Anselm and Předbor of Ronov in fact originates from Ronov Castle near Hirschfelde (today Trzciniec in Poland) and their activity was linked primarily to the area of Zittau and Upper and Lower Lusatia. At the same time, the paper attempts to correctly attribute historical sources to the Castles of Ronov near Hirschfelde and Ronov nad Sázavou.en
