| Abstract: | V teoretické části bakalářské práce jsem se zabývala historií, definicemi a základními složkami metabolického syndromu. V dalších kapitolách jsem popsala prevenci metabolického syndromu a také to, jakou roli v prevenci a edukaci zastává sestra. V praktické části jsem se pomocí kvalitativního průzkumu snažila zmapovat životní styl pacienta trpícího metabolickým syndromem a zjistit, jaké má znalosti o svém onemocnění a možných preventivních opatřeních. Rovněž jsem ověřovala účinnost edukace, která mu byla poskytnuta sestrou. V diskusi jsem shrnula všechny dostupné poznatky získané v rozhovorech a porovnala je s literaturou a s osobními zkušenostmi. Na závěr jsem navrhla důslednější edukaci pacientů, naplánovala vzdělávací akci pro sestry a vytvořila návrh na stručný informační leták pro pacienty. |
| Abstract in different language: | In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis I dealt with the history, definitions and basic components of the metabolic syndrome. The next chapters describe the prevention of the metabolic syndrome and also the role of the nurse in the prevention and education. In the practical part, I used a qualitative survey to try to map the lifestyle of the patient suffering from metabolic syndrome, his knowledge about his illness and possible preventive arrangements. I also assessed the effectiveness of the education that was provided to patient by the nurse. In the discussion I summarize all the available findings obtained through interviews and compare them with the literature and my personal experience. In conclusion I suggest a more consistent form of patient education and for illustrative purposes I created a brief leaflet for patients. |
