| Abstract: | Příspěvek představuje příběhy dvou vojenských duchovních Karla Forsta a Gustava Šumana. Oba působili v rakousko-uherské armádě v letech první světové války a v prvorepublikové armádě. V době nacistické okupace byli vězněni. Jejich poválečné osudy se lišily. Karel Forst působil jako duchovní správce v náročném prostředí západních Čech. Gustav Šuman byl odsouzen v zinscenovaném procesu a před vězněním se zachránil útěkem do zahraničí, kde v exilu zemřel. |
| Abstract in different language: | This article follows the stories of two millitary chaplains Karel Forst and Gustav Šuman. They both served in the Austro-Hungarian army during the WWI and then in the army of the first Czechoslovak Republic. During the nazi occupation they were imprisoned. Their paths after the war went in different directions. Karel Forst served as a parish priest in a difficult area of western Bohemia. Gustav Suman was sentenced in a staged trial and he save himself from imprisoning by fleeing abroad. He died in exile. |
