Abstract in different language: The island operation of a larger part of the power grid (such as a city) is a commonly discussed topic in the view of rising need of dynamic power system being able to withstand power balance changes that are given by large connection of the RES and also by price changes on the electricity market. Despite doubts in the financial side of island operations (no financial motivation for DSOs or producers to secure such a difficult operation status) there are technical issues that need to be solved. This paper makes a quick examination of the differences between currently installed UFLS tool in the 110kV and 22kV substations and possible RoCoF instead of the first levels of current UFLS.
