dc.description.abstract"To je ona, země zaslíbená, mlékem a strdím oplyvající!", pravil Praotec Čech. Odtud pochází samotny název knihy "Medem oplyvající". České suroviny od českého cukráře, v kuchařce, která je doslova medem oplyvající. Nemůžu si ale odpustit jistou ironii k návaznosti na rok 2020, jelikož začátek roku přislíbil období medem oplyvající a pravda byla bohužel jinde. Vysledkem mého snažení je publikace zaznamenávající rok 2020 pohledem šéfcukráře restaurace Eska v dobách pandemie. Tento vizuální deník je sbírkou receptů, fotografií a vzpomínek. Kniha je rozdělena na 8 kapitol, které vždy uvádí čtenáře deníkovymi zápisy do určitych momentů roku. Zápisy jsou obohaceny o poznámky objasňující konkrétní události pro širší kontext. Kniha obsahuje celkově 21 receptů, včetně 5 receptů, které vznikaly v průběhu celého roku, bez ohledu na roční období či současné události, a proto jsou odlišeny jak barevnym tiskem, tak i jinym papírem. Sjednocenou formou kniha pojednává o procesu myšlení, hledání inspirace a zajímavou formou prezentuje recepty, které během roku vznikly. Publikace poukazuje na fakt, že inspirace lze nalézt kdekoliv a že vše je o zážitku ať je pozitivní či negativní.cs

dc.description.abstract-translatedThis is it. The promised land, abundant in milk and honey. Czech ingredients from a Czech pastry chef in a unique cookbook. The title "Abundant in Honey" carries a certain irony for the consecutive events of the year 2020. The beginning of the year promised success and hope, but unfortunately that was not the case. This publication is a visual diary of the past year from the point of view of a pastry chef Jiří Matějka from the Eska restaurant in Prague in the tough times of the 2020 pandemic. A collection of recipes, photographs and memories. The book is divided into 8 chapters, which always introduce the reader to diary entries at certain moments of the year. These entries are accompanied with notes clarifying specific events for a broader context. The book contains a total of 21 recipes, including 5 recipes that were created throughout the year, regardless of the season or current events. In a unified form, the book deals with the process of conceptualizing ideas, the search for inspiration in different places. The publication points out the fact that inspiration can be found anywhere. It is all about the experience, whether it is positive or negative.en
