Abstract in different language: Two different approaches for the calculation of the household photovoltaic (PV) installations energy balance are presented and discussed in this paper. The main methodology is based on the Monte Carlo method is proposed and applied to the case study with the effort to increase the annual energy balance calculation accuracy without increasing significantly problem complexity. Results are discussed and compared to the second approach based on direct calculation using only mean values as well as with the real (measured) values of the household energy balance.
