dc.description.abstract	Tento článek je věnován Josefu Strnadovi, zakladateli moderního archivnictví a historiografie v Plzni, a jeho korespondenci s významnými historiky a kolegy té doby. Byl historikem „Gollovy školy“ a středoškolským učitelem. Jeho korespondence je významným historickým pramenem nejen pro dějiny Plzně. Ukazuje historický diskurz doby a profesní rétoriku těchto pozitivistických vědců. Veškerá zde uvedená korespondence pochází z fondů Archivu města Plzně.
