Abstract in different language: The residential towers of aristocratic castles, which until to date have survived mostly in torsion form, are an interesting chapter of medieval architecture. The detailed reconnaissance of the preserved bricks structures of these buildings can be of key importance to understanding the buildings practices in the middle ages. The south-western region of the Pilsen region has several interesting castles in which the residential tower was one of the dominant elements.
