| dc.description.abstract | Koněpruský útes, který se vytvořil ve spodním devonu na Berounsku, je ideálním cílem pro geologickou exkurzi ve středních Čechách. Exkurzí lze navázat na výklad u dioramatu koněpruského útesu v Národním muzeu v Praze. První exkurze v Koněprusích popisuje historii a význam koněpruských jeskyní. Druhá exkurze na návrší Zlatého koně a na Kobyle popisuje v 11 zastávkách geologickou historii útesu, podmínky vzniku geologických jednotek a fosilie koněpruských vápenců (prag), suchomastských vápenců (svrchní ems), akantopygových vápenců (eifel) i nejmladší jednotky givetského stáří. Vyobrazené jsou typické fosilie vápenců a některé geologické jevy na lokalitách. Zdůrazněn je význam krasovění pro poznání vývoje krajiny v nedávné geologické historii. | cs |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The Zlatý kůň Hill near Koněprusy is a famous historical site for sampling fossils since the mid of the 19th Century. The Koněprusy reef, built of the Koněprusy Limestone, was formed during the Pragian Age on a submarine elevation there. The reef core and nearby shoals were occupied by the extraordinary rich benthic assemblages, represented mainly by crinoids, bryozoans, brachiopods and trilobites; about 500 species have been recorded at localities of the reef. During a sea level fall in the early Emsian, a small island, as a remant of the reef emerged and was affected by marine abrasion and carstification. The next late Emsian rise of the sea level caused the expansion of different, maily crinoids and trilobites in a shallow sea environment of the submerging island of the former Koněprusy reef. The red Suchomasty Limestone deposited in that area. At beginning of the Eifelian, small coral biostromes reappeared in the area together with sedimentation of the Acanthopyge Limestone that is rich in smooth shelled, spire-bearing brachiopods, corals and trilobites. They are overlain by a dark limestone of the “UDI” (upper dark interval). The terminal limestone sedimentation is recorded in beds with the corals and stromatopores of early Givetian age that was followed by the siliclastic Srbsko Formation. The first field excursion describes the history and geology of the Koněprusy Cave. The second exkursion with 11stops describes the geological history of the area, fossils of particular stratigraphical units, and localities.
