| cs |

dc.description.abstract-translated | The second critical point scenario of supercooled water is discussed in the thesis. It is shown that the complete scaling method can descirbe existing experimental data both in the linear scaling equation and in the mean-field approximation. A modification of the IAPWS equation was developed to describe vapor pressure data from 123 K to 647 K. A possible existence of the second inflection point in the temperature dependence of the surface tension is discussed and a new term to the IAPWS equation is added to describe behavior of surface tension from 228 K to 647 K. The influence of the new calculated and measured values of critical exponents on the linearity of a parametric equation was tested and the necessity of linearity tests when new values of exponents are used is identified. | en |
