Popisuje situaci před vypuknutím konfliktu, kde se zaměřuje především na sociální a politické dění ve Španělsku. Dále se podrobně zabývá samotným počátkem války, důležitým bitvám, reakcí zahraničí a charakterizuje osobní a profesní život Francisca Franca. V poslední kapitole se věnuje důsledkům krvavého konfliktu a diktatuře Caudilla Francisca Franca.cs
