| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem mé práce bylo napsat odborný text, který se zaobírá problematikou teorie množin, speciálně potom Cantor-Bernsteinovou větou. Tato práce by měla popularizovat matematiku i pro laickou veřejnost. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřená na historický vývoj, který vyústil v teorii množin. Kapitola druhá pojednává o Cantorově naivní teorii společně s kardinálními čísly a paradoxy teorie množin. Poslední kapitola je zaměřená na Cantor-Bernsteinovu větu a některé její důkazy. |
| Abstract in different language: | The main purpose of my bachelor thesis was to create technical text, which deals with Set Theory, especially with Cantor-Bernstein Theorem. This thesis should popularise mathematics to non-mathematician. The bachelor thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is focused on historical development which leads to Set Theory. Chapter two is about Naive Set Theory which includes Cardinal Numbers and paradoxes of Naive Set Theory. The last chapter concentrated on Cantor- Bernstein Theorem and proofs of this theorem. |
