| Abstract: | Dílo je výtvarným doprovodem k básním mého již zesnulého prastrýce Pavla Víta. Soubor obsahuje pět dvoustranných a deset jednostranných grafik tištěných technikou sítotisku. Grafiky jsou tištěné na šedém papíře značky Archer o hmotnosti 230 g/m2. Motivy na grafikách mají abstraktní charakter. Jedná se o alegorii života autora textu. Tato alegorie by měla vhodně doplňovat text básní. Většina jednostránkových ilustrací je tištěna dvěma barvami a doplněna bílou linií protínající všechny ilustrace. Dvoustranné ilustrace obsahují barvy tři, jednalo se o záměr, kdy na dvoustranných ilustracích měla vždy začínat jedna z barev a jiná se vytrácet. Použité barvy jsou modrý ultramarín,červený karmín, kadmiová žluť, černá mars, titániová bílá, zlatý okr. Grafiky mají čtvercový formát rozměrů 21x21 cm. Celý soubor je propojen tak, že v případě, že položíme jednotlivé grafiky vedle sebe, měla by bílá barva v jednotlivých grafických listech navazovat. |
| Abstract in different language: | 20 illustrations created in serigraphy graphic technique. The text I had chosen to illustrate are poems written by my grand-uncle Pavel Vít. The format of my illustrations is 21x21 cm, printed on grey cardboard suitable for printmaking. The illustrations are printed in two or three colours, according to the size of the illustration. All the illustrations are connected by a line of white colour, printed using paper stencil. The coloured prints are made using a stencil made with wax crayons directly on the mesh. I created my own printing tools especially for my bachelor project. I hand-crafted a wooden frame and streched a piece of polyester mesh onto it with metal clips. I used acrylic paint to print my illustrations. The illustrations are abstract representation of the poem's author's life. The illustrations are not only intended into a book, but also as a solitary work of graphic art. When placed all together in a row, the white line connects all the illustrations and creates a sense of continuity. |
