| Abstract: | Studie se zabývá analýzou díla alžbětinského autora George Puttenhama (1529 nebo 1530 – 1591) The Art of English Poesie, ve kterém se zaměřuje především na koncept imitatio v návaznosti na antické autory (zvláště Horatia a Quintiliana). Studie se v tomto kontextu věnuje také otázce originálního přínosu tohoto díla alžbětinské literární kultuře v oblasti renesanční poetiky a rétoriky. |
| Abstract in different language: | Study deals with the consideration of The Art of English Poesy by George Puttenham (1529 or 1530 – 1591) that focuses on the concept of imitatio, particularly the concept of imitatio in Puttenham’s works and ideas of ancient authors (especially Horace, Virgil and Quintilian). It also pays attention to Puttenham’s original contribution to the Elizabethan literary culture. |
