| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce Pojetí podsvětí v severské a řecké mytologii se zabývá představami o podsvětí v germánské, finské a řecké mytologii. Krátce popisuje vznik a základní principy fungování těchto mytologií. Převážnou část práce tvoří popis podsvětí všech tří systémů, který se vztahuje především na jejich polohu, atmosféru, vládce, bytosti podsvětí a organizaci posmrtného života. Práce je zakončena porovnáním jednotlivých konceptů podsvětí mezi sebou, které zachycuje jejich shodné i rozdílné znaky. |
| Abstract in different language: | The Bachelor's thesis The Conception of the Underworld in Northern and Greek Mythology deals with the ideas of the underworld in Germanic, Finnish and Greek mythology. It briefly describes the origin and basic principles of functioning of these mythologies. The main part of thesis consits of the description of the underworlds of all three systems, which means their location, atmosphere, rulers, underworld beings and organisation of life after death. In conclusion, there is comparison of individual underworld philosophies, which notices their identical as well as different characteristics. |
