| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá anglickými vedlejšími příslovečnými větami a jejich českými protějšky. Popisuje anglické příslovečné určení, na které navazuje popis kategorie vedlejších příslovečných doplňkových vět.V poslední části teoretické kapitoly jsou popsány české protějšky tohoto jevu, tzv. přechodníky neboli transgresivy. Praktická část zkoumá vlastnosti a četnost těchto jevů v anglickém jazyce. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis deals with English supplementive clauses and their Czech equivalents. It describes grammatical categories of the adverbial element from the point of view of a number of linguists due to various approaches on the element. Supplementive clauses are introduced and investigated next. The last part of the theoretical chapter introduces czech equivalents of supplementive clauses, termed přechodníky or transgresivy. The practical part investigates various attributes of supplementive clauses, including frequency and possible positions within the english sentence. |
