Abstrakt v dalším jazyce:	The paper deals with the comparison of approaches to the real estate management in selected municipalities of the Czech Republic. Individual municipalities can choose different ways of property management from ad hoc management by the mayor to outsourcing of administration to an external organization, depending on the size of the municipality, the size of the property or the habits in the state. The aim of the paper is to compare the similarities and the differences of property management in selected municipalities. In the next part, the paper focuses on the method of strategic planning and implementation of municipal strategies in the real estate use. The authors base the paper on the analysis of strategic documents of municipalities or higher self-governing units, which contain a plan for the use and the development of real estate in municipal ownership.
