| Abstract: | Syndrom diabetické nohy (SDN) je jednou z nejzávažnějších chronických komplikací diabetes mellitus. Prevalence diabetu se v České republice neustále zvyšuje a tím roste i počet jejích chronických komplikací, mezi které patří i SDN (ÚZIS, 2016). Je nutné si uvědomit především závažnost terminálních symptomů SDN, které vznikají na podkladě diabetické neuropatie či ischemické choroby dolních končetin. Mezi tyto příznaky patří ulcerace nebo destrukce tkáně na nohou, která v kombinaci s infektem může vést k následné amputaci zabraňující oddálení septického stavu (WHO, 2016). |
| Abstract in different language: | Diabetic foot syndrome is one of the most severe complications of diabetes mellitus. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus in the Czech Republic is constantly growing, including diabetic foot syndrome (UZIS, 2016). Therefore, it is important to be aware of the severity of the fundamental symptoms of diabetic foot syndrome, which arise from diabetic neuropathy or ischemic disease of the lower limbs. These symptoms include ulceration or destruction of the soft tissue of the lower limbs. These symptoms in combination with any further infection can consequently lead to lower limb amputation to prevent septic stage (WHO, 2016). |
