dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá historickým vývojem městečka Rabštejn nad Střelou v rozmezí 1918-1946, tedy v období od první Československé republiky, přes druhou světovou válku až do počátku tzv. třetí Československé republiky. Práce všeobecně seznamuje s životem místního obyvatelstva v dané době; pracuje s národnostní a sociální otázkou, s kulturním pohledem na rurální oblast plzeňského venkova a angažovanost šlechty a státního aparátu v německém pohraničí. Lze tak sledovat odraz "velkých dějin" v malém městečku uprostřed lesů.cs

dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis deals with the historical development of Rabštejn nad Střelou, a county town, throughout the years 1918-1946, during the times of the First Czechoslovak Republic, through the Second World War, until the beginning of the so-called Third Czechoslovak Republic. The thesis generally apprizes readers with the life of residents during given eras; it engages with the questions of nationality and social issues while viewing the cultural aspect of the rural region of Pilsen's countryside and the involvement of the nobility and state apparatus in the German borderland. With that, we can see "the grand history" being reflected in a small country town in the middle of the woods.en
