Abstract in different language: During the clearing process of the oval fastness’ moat in the centre of Pšovlky an assembly of finds was gathered, representing the first dating material from the horizon of the small manor’s existence which is part of the concentration of small fortified manors in the western part of Rakovník area. The fastness is mentioned in written sources which trace its origin to the second half of the 14th century. Its definitive demise was caused by presence of the Imperial-Catholic League army in the autumn of 1620, which clashed with the Bohemian estate host near Rakovník two days prior to the Battle of White Mountain. Based on the found archaeological material, it is possible to validate the existence of the fastness in the first half of the 14th century.
