Abstract in different language: The current energy crisis forces us to look for new energy sources in addition to savings. Undoubtedly, their purpose is environmental friendliness and the much-discussed question of independence from other countries. One of the ways is the use of biomass for the construction of biogas stations. The paper deals with this issue in the agricultural sector in the Czech Republic. However, the construction of these stations is relatively demanding in terms of investment, which is why specific subsidy programs have been prepared for their development. However, the operation itself entails further costs but also revenues. At the same time, the article tries to demonstrate this issue in a case study of a selected agricultural enterprise.
