| Abstract: | V práci se zabývám analýzou avatarů, a narativů, které jim uživatelé sociálních sítí přisuzují. V rámci práce jsem prováděla výzkum na sociálních platformách Facebook, Discord a VRChat za využití kvalitativní metody. Data analyzuji pročítáním si textů a za využití analytických kategorií se snažím kontextualizovat výpovědi, které mi jsou respondenty poskytnuté. |
| Abstract in different language: | In my work I analyse the avatars and narratives which are tied to them within social media and other virtual environments. For my work I analysed the following social platforms: Facebook, Discord and VRChat with the use of qualitative methods I analysed the interviews which were text-based. I analysed the resulting texts through thematic analysis and interpreteted them with the use of analytical categories, which I borrowed from the authors A. Giddens, E. Goffman and J. Butler. I attempt to analyse the respondents' answers and provide a thorough interpretation by fitting them into the contextual frameworks of the aforementioned authors' works. |
