| Abstract: | Trať je bakálářskou prací v podobě autorské knihy ve formě komiksu. Výchozí bod knihy a jejího příběhu je mnou napsaný scénář, z kterého vznikl storyboard a z něho nadále kompozice celé knihy. Komiksový formát mi byl výzvou a bránou otvírající pole nového média, schopného přetavit text do časovosti jednotlivých kreslených záběrů. Kniha reaguje na téma tklivosti věcí a pomíjivosti našich vlastních, mnohdy zacyklených životů, skrz prostředí železnice a rychlíku Berounka vykresluje atmosféru a vytváří dějovou linku, protínající celý příběh. Kniha je tu pro všechny, co utíkají před sebou samými. |
| Abstract in different language: | Track is a bachelor's work which represents comic book format that resembles topics of existence, transience of life, beauty and sentiment of all quiet and lifeless things around us. It takes reader on a journey of last train ride of an old railway worker, who travels across limbo of his own mind, towards inevitable death. This work also aims for everyone of us to question how much are we able to see what is important in life and what is not, if we are even able to wage what is reality and what is surreal experience and what is the difference between the two, if there is one. I want to believe that Track is here for all of you who are trying to run away from themselves. |
