| dc.description.abstract | Celkovým zájmem diplomové páce je detailně seznámit čtenáře s fenoménem astronomické orientace nemovitých objektů v minulosti. Autor tak činí zvláště v praktické části práce, jejímž obsahem je provedení praktického archeoastronomického výzkumu eneolitických dlouhých mohyl na Podřipsku. Rozsáhlá teoretická část práce je zaměřena na význam astronomie v rámci historických společností a na motivy, které tyto společnosti mohly vést ke zohlednění astronomických aspektů při budování nemovitých objektů.
