dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zabývá vlastnostmi dřeva, biologickou degradací, ochranou a opravami dřevěných konstrukcí. První část práce je věnována literárnímu přehledu, který analyzuje vlastnosti dřeva, mechanické a fyzikální vlastnosti, biologickou degradaci dřeva včetně napadení dřevokazného hmyzu a metod ochrany a oprav dřevěných konstrukcí. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na experimentální studii, která zahrnuje získání dřeva pro experiment, zpracování vzorků a testování pevnosti dřeva při tříbodovém ohybu. Cílem práce je poskytnout ucelený pohled na problematiku dřeva, studovat mechanismy biologické degradace a zjistit vliv napadení dřevokazného hmyzu na pevnost dřeva. Výsledky práce mají praktický význam pro správnou údržbu dřevěných konstrukcí a zachování dřeva jako trvalého a udržitelného stavebního materiálu.cs

dc.description.abstract-translatedThis master's thesis examines the properties of wood, biological degradation, protection, and repairs of wooden structures. The first part of the thesis focuses on a literature review that analyzes the characteristics of wood, including its mechanical and physical properties, as well as biological degradation, including attacks by wood-destroying insects, and methods of wood protection and repairs. The second part of the thesis centers around an experimental study, which involves obtaining wood for the experiment, processing samples, and testing the strength of wood under three-point bending. The objective of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding of wood-related issues, investigate the mechanisms of biological degradation, and assess the impact of wood-destroying insect infestation on wood strength. The findings of this study have practical implications for the proper maintenance of wooden structures and the preservation of wood as a durable and sustainable building material.en
