| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce mapuje vazby americké 2. pěší divize na Československo, které se vytvořily během 20. století a přetrvávají dodnes. Na začátku práce je krátce sepsána historie samotné divize a její válečné tažení během druhé světové války. Hlavní část kvalifikační práce mapuje její konkrétní vazby. Čtenář zde nalezne informace o vazbách, které se vytvořily před druhou světovou válkou, během ní a jsou zde také zmíněny ty, které přetrvávají do dnešní doby. Kvalifikační práce pracuje s literaturou věnující se tématu, dobovými archiváliemi, vzpomínkami pamětníků i zdroji, které jsou veřejně dostupné na internetu. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor's thesis maps the bonds of the 2nd Infantry Division to Czechoslovakia that were formed during the 20th century and continue to this day. At the beginning of the thesis, the history of the division itself and its campaign during World War II is briefly written. The rest of the chapters are devoted just to individual bonds. The reader will find information about the bonds that were formed before and during the Second World War, and bonds that continue to this day. The bachelor's thesis works with literature devoted to the topic, period archives, memories of witnesses and sources that are publicly available on the Internet. |
