Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce zkoumá využití hororově laděných příběhů v literární výchově na 1. stupni základní školy. |
Abstract in different language: | This thesis explores the use of horror stories in literary education in primary school. It draws on analyses of horror and its historical development to help us better understand the chosen genre. Through this analysis, it was found that horror stories not only release fear in their perceivers, but can function as a means to explore a wider range of the recipient's emotions. The theoretical part of the thesis further focuses on the communicative concept of literary education, the differences between literary and didactic interpretation, and the development of students' reading skills at different stages of the reception of horror stories. In the application part of the thesis, we transform the theoretical knowledge about the genre into a curriculum and didactic interpretation designed for its acquisition. Both are proposed for the short story - The Winter Cut from Chris Priestley's Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror. On the basis of the given preparation, the lessons were implemented in the 5th grade of primary school. Reflection on the pupils' outcomes forms the final chapter of the thesis. The thesis, by its nature, contributes both to the understanding of the horror genre and to its effective and creative use in the teaching of literature, with the aim of not only entertaining but also deepening pupils' literacy. |
