| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá problémem stereotypů, jejich definicí, rozeznáváním, původem, rolemi a typy. Dále se soustřeďuje na stereotypy o amerických indiánech a na stereotypy v učebních materiálech. Na základě teorie byl proveden praktický výzkum, který zanalyzoval přítomnost tématu amerických indiánů ve vybraných učebnicích. Je zanalyzováno umístění a kontext tématu amerických indiánů zmíněného v učebnicích a nakonec jsou výsledky shrnuty a prezentovány. |
| Abstract in different language: | The thesis deals with the problem of stereotypes, their definition, recognition, origin, role, and types. Further, it focuses on Native American stereotypes in particular and on stereotypes in teaching materials. Based on the theory, there was a research conducted analyzing the presence of the topic of Native American in chosen teaching materials for lower and upper secondary schools. The placement and context of the topic of Native Americans mentioned in the book are analyzed and, finally, the results are summarized and presented. |
