| Abstract: | Práce pojednává o francouzském králi Ludvíkovi XIV. a jeho pojetí absolutismu, přičemž vymezuje obecnou charakteristiku historického vývoje ve Francii v evropském kontextu. Rovněž je vymezen obecný význam pojmu "absolutismus" a jeho náznaky v politické teorii, které jsou následně komparovány s jednotlivými politickými a státnickými kroky Ludvíka XIV. V závěru práce je komparováno francouzské pojetí absolutismu s pojetím absolutismu Habsburské monarchie za vlády císaře Leopolda I. |
| Abstract in different language: | The work deals with the French king Louis XIV and his concept of absolutism and defining the general characteristics of the historical development in France in the European context. It is also defined by the general meaning of "absolutism" and its indications in political theory which are then compares the various political and statesman steps of Louis XIV. In conclusion the work compares the French concept of absolutism with concept absolutism of the Habsburg monarchy during the reign of Emperor Leopold I. |
