| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na indiánský kmen Siouxů. V první částí popisuje jejich kmenovou hierarchii, zvyky a kulturu. Druhá, historická část práce, je zaměřena na původ Siouxů, dopad příchodu Evropanů na Siouxe a ostatní indiánské kmeny včetně popisu nejdůležitějších historických událostí a několika hlavních postav souvisejících se Siouxi a s jejich historickým vývojem a změnami. |
| Abstract in different language: | The Undergraduate Thesis is focused on an Indian tribe, the Sioux. The first part describes the Sioux tribal organization, customs and culture. The second, historical part of the thesis, is focused on the origin of the Sioux, the impact of the arrival of Europeans upont the Sioux and other Native Americans including descriptions of the most important historical events and several main figures concerning the Sioux and their historical development and changes. |
