Abstract in different language: The organizational plan of my dissertation thesis deals with two very influential scenarios which were presented after the End of the Cold War: the End of History by Francis Fukuyama and the Clash of Civilizations by Samuel Huntington. These two scenarios (or theories, paradigms or myths as they have been labelled too) are compared not only with one another, but also with the various most important visions of the future global order of those times. Besides searching for the identity of two analyzed theses in the context of the IR discipline, the other secondary goals are followed too: 1) to reply to the question “why these two theses have been so popular till nowadays despite their evident theoretical – methodological fallacies or a strong critics?” or 2) to evaluate the predictability of both scenarios in the light of the theory of change.
