| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. Práce pojednává o životě a díle Williama Shakespeara. Vzhledem k obsahu práce budeme charakterizovat žánr shakespearovské tragédie. Součástí práce je také kapitola věnovaná teorii filmové adaptace. Hlavní obsah práce tvoří dvě tragédie, Hamlet a Macbeth, které jsou popsány a porovnány s dvěma filmovými adaptacemi. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis is about the Film Adaptations of Shakespeare´s plays. The thesis is divided into four chapters. It is focused on the life and work of William Shakespeare. Then there is the theory film adaptation. There are two tragedies those are the main themes of that thesis. They are called The Tragedy of Macbeth and Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark. We will describe the story and then compare with two films. |
