dc.description.abstractVe své bakalářské práci jsem zkoumala vliv rodičovství na zdraví seniorů žijících v institucionalizovaných zařízeních, tj. v domovech pro seniory a v pečovatelských domech. Tento výzkum si kladl za cíl zjistit, zda jsou senioři, kteří mají děti zdravější než senioři bezdětní, což znamená, že nás bude zajímat, zda vůbec děti nějaký vliv mají, a pokud ano, zda je pozitivní či negativní. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Práce zkoumá hlavní hypotézu, která říká "Lidé mající děti jsou zdravější než lidé bezdětní", a snaží se jí vysvětlit skrze sociální podporu dětí a životní styl. V rámci bakalářské práce byl prováděn kvantitativní výzkum ve třech institucích v Karlovarském kraji. Pro sběr dat bylo využito metody dotazníkového šetření, které bylo prováděno face-to-face s každým respondentem. Pro vytvoření samotného dotazníku byly použity některé již ověřené otázky projektu SHARE (Survey of Health, Agening and Retirment in Europe), které byly následně upravovány a přeformulovány tak, aby je bylo vhodné použít pro dotazník ve výzkumu a aby vhodně pokrývaly výzkumnou otázku. Dále byl dotazník doplněn i o další otázky tak, aby byla pokryta celá problematika výzkumu. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo celkem 56 respondentů.cs

dc.description.abstract-translatedMy bachelor thesis focus on the impact of parenthood on health. The aim of this work is to carry out quantitative research that will examine the impact of children on their parents' health in old age. The research sample consisted of seniors who live in insititucionalized facilities, i.e. a home for the elderly and a nursing home. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The work explores the main hypothesis, which says "People with children are healthier than people without children", and tries to explain to impact of children through social support and lifestyle. In the thesis was conducted quantitative research in three institutions in the Karlovy Vary region. For data collection methods were used questionnaire survey, which was conducted face-to-face with each respondent. Questionnaire was created from some Project SHARE's questions, which were subsequently modified and reformulated so that it is suitable for use in research and questionnaire to adequately cover the research question. In addition, the questionnaire was supplemented to include other issues so as to cover the whole topic of research. Research was attended by a total of 56 respondents.en
