Abstract: Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou nanotechnologií a ochrany veřejného zdraví. V teoretické části je práce zaměřena na obecnou charakteristiku nanotechnologií, strukturu a vlastnosti nanomateriálů, využití nanomateriálů a především se věnuje nanotechnologiím a nanomateriálům v potravinářství. Poslední kapitola upozorňuje na možná rizika těchto technologií na lidské zdraví. Praktická část sumarizuje výsledky průzkumu získané pomocí dotazníkového šetření zaměřeného na informovanost veřejnosti o problematice nanotechnologií a na jejich postoj k nanotechnologiím používaných v potravinářství.
Abstract in different language: This bachelor thesis is about nanotechnology and public health protecting. The teoretical part of the thesis is focused on general characteristics of nanotechnology, the structure and properties of nanomaterials, uses of nanomaterials and especially it´s about nanotechnology and nanomaterials in the food industry. Applied part of the thesis sumarizes the results of the survey, that was performed by questionaires focused ond the knowledge and awareness of the general public about the problematics of nanotechnology and public point of view on nanotechnology in the food industry.
