| Abstract: | Karcinom pankreatu je i v současné době označován za jedno z nejzhoubnějších maligních onemocnění s velmi malou nadějí na trvalé vyléčení. Kvůli anatomickému uložení slinivky břišní totiž bývá karcinom diagnostikován až ve značně pokročilém stadiu, navíc jde o velmi agresivní typ nádoru. Metodou volby kvalitní diagnostiky karcinomu pankreatu je mj. CT vyšetření s aplikací kontrastní látky a endoskopická ultrasonografie. Výsledkem práce je objasnění vztahu mezi endoskopickou ultrasonografií a CT vyšetřením pankreatu u pacientů s diagnózou karcinomu pankreatu. |
| Abstract in different language: | At present, pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadliest malignant disease with very little hope for a permanent cure. Due to its anatomical location, pancreatic cancer is usually diagnosed at an advanced stage. In addition, it is usually an aggressive type of tumour. The method of choice for quality diagnosis of pancreatic cancer is contrast enhanced CT examination and endosonography. The result of the work will aim at clarifying the relationship between endosonography and CT examination of the pancreas in patients with a diagnosis of carcinoma of the pancreas. |
