| Abstract: | Klíčové téma bakalářské práce je "Black America", především pak její historie a vývoj afroamerické komunity na území Spojených Států. Práce se zaměřuje na afroamerickou kulturu a každodenní život černošského obyvatelstva v zemi podle toho, jak je popisují současní američtí básníci. Autoři, kteří jsou sami členy této komunity a mají tak s touto problematikou přímou zkušenost, slouží jako hlavní zdroje pro textovou analýzu, která je následně srovnávána s historickými fakty. Dále pak se práce zaměřuje na ženskou perspektivu s ohledem na skutečnost, že ženy procházely tzv. double-discrimination - tím, že byly ženy a zároveň Afroameričanky. Hlavním cílem práce je zachytit změnu postavení černochů v americké společnosti, zejména pak vztah mezi většinou a menšinou z pohledu běžné afroamerické ženy. |
| Abstract in different language: | The central topic of the bachelor's thesis is the history of the Black America and the development of the Afro-American community throughout the United States. Therefore, the general focus is aimed to the African American culture and precisely to an everyday life of ordinary black people in the country, in the way it is described by contemporary poets. The authors, who are themselves representatives of the community as they have the first-hand experience, serve as the main source for the textual analysis, which is then compared to the historical facts. Furthermore, the thesis targets the feminine perspective concerning the fact women were going through a double-discrimination being women and African Americans. Thus, the basic aim is to capture the change of the position of the Blacks in the American society and relationship between the majority and minority pre-eminently in the eyes of common Afro-American woman. |
