| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá českým spisovatelem Jiřím Grušou a jeho německy psaným dílem, především pak jeho knihou esejů "Česko návod k použití". Cílem práce je vyhledat v těchto textech literární obrazy Čechů. První a druhá kapitola práce je věnována osobě a dílu spisovatele. V další části je představena a definována jedna z nových vědeckých disciplín, komparatistická imagologie, včetně jejího využití v dnešní době a její spojitosti s prací autora. V exilu psal Gruša německy, velmi osobitým a nezvyklým stylem, jehož rysy popisuje čtvrtá kapitola. Poslední, pátá část ukazuje Čechy tak, jak je Jiří Gruša viděl a popsal. |
| Abstract in different language: | The diploma thesis is concerned with the Czech writer Jiří Gruša and his German-language work, namely his book of essays "Česko návod k použití". The aim of thesis is to identify a literary image of Czechs in Gruša´s texts. The first and second chapter deal with the life and work of the writer. The following chapter presents and defines one of the new scientific disciplines comparative imagology, including its application in contemporary era and its connection to the writer´s work. While in exile, Gruša wrote his texts in German, in a very specific and unusual style that is described in the fourth chapter. The fifth and last chapter presents the Czechs as Gruša saw them and portrayed them. |
