| Abstract: | Dílo je založeno na kontrastu čistého funkčního designu a hravého experimentálního designu až uměleckého objektu. Stavebním pilířem obou poloh se stala čajová sada pro jednoho. Vytvořila jsem čajový servis pro jednu osobu, při jehož navrhování jsem myslela na sebe jako na primárního uživatele. Sada obsahuje všechny pro mě nezbytné části v ideálních objemech a tvarosloví. Tvoří tak vyvážený celek, který podporuje celkový dojem z tohoto užitého produktu. Důležitá je kombinovatelnost a variabilita jednotlivých kusů. Čajové nádobí jsem dále využila a pozvedla do role objektu. Funkční formy jsem spojila v abstrahované uskupení úmyslně strhávající funkci čajové sady. Taktéž použití stékavých glazur sráží a zcela vylučuje funkčnost původně užitého produktu. Dochází tak k posunutí čajové sady z utilitární do sochařské formy. Umění a řemeslo do sebe "naráží". |
| Abstract in different language: | Diploma thesis is based on the contrast between pure functional design and playful experimental design which passes into artistic objects. The building pillar of both positions is a tea set for one person. I created a tea service for one person and I thought of myself as the primary user during the design process. The set contains all the necessary parts in ideal volumes and shapes. Work is a counterbalanced set, which promotes the total impression of this product. The combinability and variability of individual pieces is important. The pieces are slip-cast, a process that involves pouring liquid porcelain clay into a mould and allowing it to harden. Each then goes through at least three firing processes. I used the tea tableware and raised it to the role of the dysfunctional object. I combined the functional forms in the abstracted grouping, which intentionally contradicts the functionality of the originally used set. This is also supported by the use of dripping glazes. White china forms are overlaid with multiple reactive glazes, which gives this striking contrast between the white and the coloured parts. There is a shift of the tea set from the utilitarian to the sculptural form. The art and craft are "intrigued". |
