| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá výukou a učením se anglického jazyka na demokratických školách. Zkoumá způsoby jakými je anglický jazyk vyučován a způsoby jakými se žáci anglický jazyk učí ve specifickém prostředí demokratických škol odlišném od tradičního školství. V teoretické části jsou objasněny hlavní pojmy a vysvětleny principy demokratického školství s uvedenými příklady dvou slavných demokratických škol. Na konci teoretické části se nachází informace o osvojování a učení se jazyka, které dokončují teoretickou část výzkumu. Výzkum, který byl uskutečněn pomocí pozorování a rozhovorů, ukázal, že i když se jednotlivé demokratické školy liší ve způsobech výuky anglického jazyka, nejdůležitější roli hraje nezáměrné učení, i když záměrné učení bylo také ve školách přítomno. Na základě výzkumu jsou odvozeny důsledky pro pedagogickou praxi. |
| Abstract in different language: | The thesis deals with the topic of English language teaching and learning at democratic schools. The main purpose is to examine ways in which English is learnt and taught at democratic schools in their special learning environment different from traditional schooling. In the theoretical part, terms are clarified and basic principles of democratic schooling are explained in theory as well as examples of two famous democratic schools. At the end of the theoretical part, there is also information about English learning and acquisition theory to complete the theory base for the research. The research, realized by the means of observation and interviews, showed that although schools differed among each other in their ways of English language teaching, incidental learning played the most important role, though English lessons and intentional learning were present as well. Based on the results of the research, pedagogical implications are suggested. |
