| Abstract: | Cílem títo bakalářské práce je potvrdit fakt, že intervence Spojených států do Iráku, vojenská operace Irácká svoboda a následné pokusy o rekonstrukci země byly provedeny úspěšně a americké působení v Iráku může být označeno jako vítězné. Bude představen zásadní dokument, na němž je práce postavena, a sice Národní strategie pro vítězství v Iráku, vydaná v listopadu 2005. Bude analyzován vývoj ve třech oblastech, vytyčených zmíněnou strategií: v bezpečnostní, ekonomické a politické sféře, přičemž klíčovými zdroji faktů, se kterými bude pracováno, budou čtvrtletní zprávy ministerstva obrany USA o vývoji situace v Iráku. Práce bude obsahovat důležité informace a fakta, na základě kterých bude moci být splněn cíl práce (tj. bude potvrzeno, že intervence v Iráku je vítězstvím USA). |
| Abstract in different language: | The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to confirm the fact, that the American intervention in Iraq, operation Iraqi Freedom and the subsequent reconstruction efforts have been caried out successfully and could be labeled as the victory of the United States. The thesis will introduce its crucial document, the National Strategy for Victory in Iraq issued in November 2005, and will analyze the progress in three areas, outlined in the strategy: security, economic and political tracks. The text will focus on facts from the quarterly reports of the U.S. Department of Defense about the progress in Iraq, which will be the thesis' key source of information. The development in each track will be described. Some important information and facts will be presented in order to achieve the goal of the thesis. |
