| Abstract: | Tématem této bakalářské práce je politika USA jako externí mocnosti v jihovýchodní a východní Asii. Práce se zabývá zahraničněpolitickými zájmy a cíli Spojených států amerických v těchto regionech během let 2009-2019. První část práce definuje základní teoretické koncepty jako jsou moc, mocnost a zdroje moci. Následující kapitoly analyzují zahraniční politiku USA za vlády dvou amerických prezidentů, Baracka Obamy a Donalda Trumpa. V závěru práce je provedena komparace přístupů a zahraničněpolitických aktivit těchto prezidentů v obou zkoumaných regionech. Hlavními komparačními kritérii jsou obecné principy zahraniční politiky obou prezidentů vůči regionům východní a jihovýchodní Asie a nástroje a politiky USA využívané k naplnění cílů a zájmů v rámci bezpečnostní a ekonomické spolupráce. Práce má za cíl zjistit, jak se během výzkumného období proměnily zahraničněpolitické cíle USA a přístupy k jejich naplnění a jak tyto změny ovlivnily vztah mezi USA a státy jihovýchodní a východní Asie. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis deals with the role of the United States of America as external power in the regions of East and Southeast Asia. The first part of this thesis describes fundamental theoretical concepts such as power and sources of power. Second section focuses on foreign policy of USA towards East and Southeast Asia during the years 2009-2019. In two chapters are described the interests and objectives of the United States in the regions of East and Southeast Asia during the presidential terms of Barack Obama and Donald Trump. The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze how has changed the approach of US foreign policy towards the regions in the selected years and how has it influenced the relations of US and its allies and cooperation within regional organizations. |
