| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce předkládá poznatky o transjugulárním intrahepatickém portosystémovém shuntu (TIPS). Tato minimálně invazivní metoda se využívá při léčbě portální hypertenze, zejména při krvácení do trávicí trubice a při ascitu. Principem metody je snížení tlaku v portálním řečišti vytvořením spojky vedoucí jaterním parenchymem mezi větvemi portální a jaterní žíly. Výhodou metody je použití pouze lokální anestezie, proto je metoda využitelná i u pacientů v pokročilém věku, kteří nemohou podstoupit chirurgický výkon, vyžadující celkovou anestezii. Funkce zkratu je dále monitorována na pravidelných ultrasonografických kontrolách. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis presents findings about transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS). This minimal invasive method is used during portal hypertension treatment, especially during bleeding into digestive tract and during ascites. Principle of this method is pressure reduction in portal vein created by shunt. This shunt connects the hepatic and portal vein in hepatic parenchyma. Advantage of TIPS the application of local anesthesia only. This is why the method can be used even for elderly patients, who cannot undergo surgical procedure with general anesthesia. Function of TIPS is then monitored during regular ultrasonographic examinations. |
