| Abstract: | Mocenské soupeření Alžírska a Maroka reprezentuje jeden z nejvýznamnějších fenoménů, které lze perspektivou oboru mezinárodních vztahů v regionu Maghribu sledovat. Teoretická část představuje teorii přesunu moci vytvořenou A. F. K. Organským a upravenou D. Lemkem, která posléze slouží jako analytický nástroj v empirické části práce, kde je aplikována na regionální mocenskou hierarchii v Maghribu. Analyzovány jsou mocenské pozice Alžírska a Maroka a dopad jejich postavení na vzájemné vztahy i stabilitu celého regionu. Diplomová práce je následně zakončena závěry této analýzy, kde je potvrzena alžírská a marocká pozice na vrcholu regionální mocenské hierarchie a shrnut vliv mocenského soupeření Alžírska a Maroka na stabilitu a rozvoj celého regionu. |
| Abstract in different language: | The rivalry between Algeria and Morocco represents one of the most significant phenomena that can be observed in the region of Maghreb from the perspective of international relations. The theoretical part introduces the power transition theory created by A. F. K. Organski and adjusted by D. Lemke, which serves as the analytical tool in the empirical part and is applied to regional power hierarchy in the Maghreb to analyze power positions of Algeria and Morocco and the impact of this position on their relations and stability of the region. The thesis is concluded with results of the analysis, confirming Algerian and Moroccan positions on the top of the regional power hierarchy and stating immense repercussions of the rivalry between Algeria and Morocco for the entire region. |
