| Abstract: | Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám tématem medicíny (konkrétně patologie, anatomie, operací), ale hlavně morbiditou. Zároveň pracuji s představivostí diváka. Nechci jen říct: Tenhle clovek spadl ze skaly, rozrazil si lebku a neprezil". Chci ukazat dusledek (tedy v tomto pripade treba prave rozrazenou lebku) a po divakovi chci, aby si predstavil co k tomu vedlo, jak se to stalo, proc se to stalo a prezil ten clovek vubec? Uz jen fakt, ze moje prace spusti v divakovi tento proces na chemicke urovni, kdy neurony zacinaji pracovat, mozek zpracovava data a predstavy, tak se vlastne takove male umelecke dilo z meho pohledu deje i v divakovi samotném. DP je složená z 6 animovaných ilustrací "rozbitých" těl (6 různých příběhů), doplněná o 5.1 zvukovou stopu pracujících neuronů podkreslující celou instalaci. |
| Abstract in different language: | In my diploma thesis I am dealing with morbid medicine topics (pathology, anatomy, surgeries). Also I am working with imagination of viewer. I don't want to simply draw something and say: "Well... this guy fell down from the reef, crushed his skull and died." I want to show the consequence (in this case it is the crushed skull) and say to the viewer: "Try to imagine what happened, why it is happened, and what is the consequence of it." This process of thinking switches on chemical process. Neurons starts to do their job, brain is processing data and visions, so this whole process is kind of a small piece of work in everyones body. Diploma thesis consist of 6 animated illustrations of "broken" bodies (6 different stories), which is complement of 5.1 audio of working neurons. |
