| Abstract: | Cesty ke svobodě mapují nedávnou historii a problematiku tří zemí, které se v nedávné době musely vypořádat s nesvobodou, ať už úspešně či neúspěšně. Jedná se konkrétně o Afghánistán, Jihoafrickou republiku a Ukrajinu. Doprovodné ilustrace jsou vytvořené papírovými kolážemi pomocí materiálového tisku a dalších příbuzných technik. Kniha vede k hlubšímu zamyšlení nad svobodou a současně upozorňuje na to, jak cesta k cíli v přeneseném slova smyslu může být zdlouhavá a nemusí být pouze jedna. |
| Abstract in different language: | The Steps To Freedom is about modern history and politics of three countries. The book is binded with a solid cover and consists of 48 pages and 25 illustrations. There are 3 chapters - Afghanistan, South Africa and Ukraine. The illustrations are made by hand from paper cuts, also known as a paper collage. The aim of this book is to give new information, thoughts and questions about these issues. The stories of this book present important points of the countries and their citizens which had to struggle against living without freedom. |
