| Abstract in different language: | The paper presents a basic summary of existing knowledge about Jan Vítovec and his family’s influence in services of European rulers. It focuses on several chosen sites (Veliki Tabor, Vrbovec, Varaždin, Grebengrad) which were, in southern Croatia, in Vítovec family’s possessions on which they left considerable traces, or were even established by them. The paper shows material culture and other findings connected to the area held by the noble family as well as the question of the family’s further destiny until its end. |
