| Abstract: | Práce se věnuje interpretacím vzpomínek Rusínů a Židů, kteří po okupaci Podkarpatské Rusi maďarskou armádou v roce 1939 uprchli do Sovětského svazu, aby tam našli svobodu a spravedlnost, ale místo toho se setkali s vězněním a represemi a na několik let skončili v gulagu. Dennodenně byli vystaveni těžkým fyzickým pracím, hladu, žízni, arktickému mrazu, nemocem, krutému zacházení a permanentnímu boji o holý život. Většinou se na Podkarpatskou Rus už nevrátili, neboť nesouhlasili s jejím poválečným přičleněním k SSSR, který jim tolik ublížil. Navzdory tomu svou levicovou orientaci neztratili, mnozí dokonce vstoupili do KSČ v domnění, že se československý socialismus nepřizpůsobí sovětskému modelu. Rozpaky z opačného vývoje proto ve vzpomínkách neskrývají. |
| Abstract in different language: | The thesis deals with interpretations of the memories of Ruthenians and Jews who fled to the Soviet Union after the occupation of Carpathian Ruthenia by the Hungarian army in 1939 to find freedom and justice, but instead encountered imprisonment and repression and they ended up in the gulag for several years. On a daily basis, they were exposed to hard physical labor, hunger, thirst, Arctic frost, disease, cruel treatment and a permanent struggle for life. For the most part, they did not return to Carpathian Ruthenia because they did not agree with its post-war accession to the USSR, which hurt them so much. Despite this, they did not lose their left-wing orientation, many even joined the Communist Party, believing that Czechoslovak socialism would not adapt to the Soviet model. Therefore, they do not hide the embarrassment of the opposite development in their memories. |
