| Abstract: | Práce se zaměřuje na zodpovězení výzkumné otázky "Jakou roli má LGBT komunita pro její členy?", přičemž se zaměřuje na homosexuály a bisexuály. Soustředí se na komunitní aspekty, které nachází u představených teoretiků sociálních komunit a na jejichž základě zkoumá přítomnost komunity. Za použití polostrukturovaných rozhovorů představuje pohledy na procesy týkající se coming outu a labellingu, rovněž získává odpovědi na vnímání nátlaku směrem od společnosti. Představuje vhled do života (ne)členů LGBT komunity a zkoumá, zda lze tuto potenciální komunitu považovat za existující a pro život LGBT jedinců funkční. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis answers the question: "What role does the LGBT community have for its members?" and is particularly focused on homosexuals and bisexuals. It focuses on the aspects of community related to the mentioned social community theorists, and these aspects are, subsequently, used to examine community presence. My thesis uses semi-structured interviews to examine the processes involved in coming out and labeling. Additionally, it provides insights into how LGBT people perceive societal pressure. It presents insights into the lives of (non) members of the LGBT community and explores whether this potential community can be considered existing and functional in the lives of LGBT people. |
